First Aid Training

Health and safety training is not only a legal requirement, but also a requirement for moral and economic reasons too.  Training staff can reduce the risk of illness and injury, which provides moral benefits of course, but this will also reduce the likelihood of staff absence (requiring cover) and expensive civil claims.

Most schools realise the benefits of Manual Handling and Risk Assessment training, but aren’t always fully clear on what courses they should be providing for their staff.  H&S Consultants (UK) Ltd will conduct a training needs analysis for your school, looking at the roles and responsibilities of your staff, then assessing whether there are any gaps that need addressing.  We will then provide a training matrix detailing exactly what you currently have covered, as well as areas requiring further training.

If training gaps have been identified we will offer to source the necessary courses for you. Time is a key factor in delivering the training that you require; therefore we will be fully flexible in accommodating your staff availability.  Our trainers will be available for your PD days, Twilight sessions and any other period that you can identify as a slot to deliver necessary health and safety training.

Courses that we offer include:

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • 3 Day First Aid at Work
  • 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work
  • 2 Day First Aid Requalification
  • Manual Handling
  • Risk Assessment
  • Fire Warden
  • Legionella Awareness & Management
