In many cases a school will conduct adhoc inspections of the premises by a member of staff or possibly the Caretaker will carry out a regular check for premise faults. What many schools do not do however is carry out a formal, documented health and safety inspection of the premises. This is due to a combination of a lack of time from staff and also a lack of genuine health and safety awareness. Feedback has demonstrated that most successful claims against schools results when there is a lack of documentation to prove premise inspections are conducted.

H&S Consultants (UK) Ltd will visit your school premises and carry out a full health and safety inspection on a termly basis. This inspection will be documented and will provide cost effective recommendations in order to ensure safety of staff and pupils. This documented inspection will be useful for the school’s safety monitoring, will provide useful information for the Governing body and will also provide documented evidence that the school has carried out a premise inspection by a competent health and safety professional.
