Fire Prevention, Detection and Warning

Your school should have a Fire Risk Assessment, although if not we can carry out this legal requirement for you.  Documented within the Fire Risk Assessment should be a range of control measures designed to eliminate or reduce the risks from fire.  Amongst these recommendations will be a requirement to inspect and examine the school’s fire prevention, detection and warning equipment. 

Fire Prevention

H&S Consultants (UK) Ltd will co-ordinate and manage the maintenance system for your school’s fire equipment.  We will arrange for your extinguishers to be maintained and checked by a competent provider, we will arrange for your detection and warning system to be tested and inspected as per statutory requirements and we will also conduct an annual review of your Fire Risk Assessment if required.
